Going Back to Square .999999999999999999....

For a few reasons, I did not want to use a pre-made engine when developing my game:

1) I would rely too heavily on already invented systems and would not use any innovation. In other words, I would get lazy.

2) Like many YouTube gamers, I try to distance myself from RPG Maker because a lot of people get lazy with the software. 

3) Game development for me is a way to improve my programming skills.

I've been developing a system around the tutorial created by TheChernoProject on YouTube. He is a great YouTuber. However, I realized his initial system project is a little basic for what I want to do, so I'm going back and modifying the engine I already had to make it even more optimal for my game projects. As soon as that is done, I will post actual details about the work.
